Worth Magazine's Editor-In-Chief to Discuss Leveraging Digital Strategies to Engage High Net Worth Individuals

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. OCTOBER 11th, 2018–The South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (South Florida IMA), the tri-county’s premiere networking and professional development organization for digital marketing professionals, will present “Digital Strategies for Engaging the High Net Worth” with Richard Bradley, for its October educational event. The event will take place on Thursday, October 11th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. EST at the International Game Fish Association located at 3000 Gulf Stream Way in Dania Beach, FL. Networking from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. EST will precede the educational portion of the event.

Richard Bradley, Editor-in-Chief and Chief Content Officer of Worth magazine and worth.com, will discuss how digital strategies can be used to target high net worth individuals. It has traditionally been believed that high net worth individuals are less engaged and/or more skeptical of the digital world, than the average consumer, however those perceptions have changed dramatically.

During this session Richard will review how Worth magazine, which has a readership with a minimum net worth of $5 million, has leveraged digital outreach to engage with the high net worth. He will provide a brief overview of why digital marketing has been shunned when it came to targeting high net worth individuals and why the landscape began to change and when. He’ll also provide examples of campaigns and techniques specifically targeted to high net worth individuals.

Key takeaways include: why and how brands have become more receptive to using digital strategies to reach the high net worth. However, the digital tactics used cannot be the same tactics as those aimed at the average consumer and more – more hits, more impressions, more visitors – is not better when targeting this group.

Tickets for the event are $39 in advance or $49 at the door, for non-members. Admission is free for South Florida IMA members and guests. From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. EST, South Florida IMA will host an industry networking engagement with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Then, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. EST, Richard Bradley will give his presentation including takeaways for the benefit of attendees, followed by a Q&A session.
